It’s really a shame that the confederate battle flag has been adopted as the symbol du jour by the racist/rightwing movement. (well, one could make the argument that it was ORIGINALLY adopted by the racist/rightwing movement, as well, of course). Similar to how the neo-nazi movement in Germany uses that Imperial and Naval flags since the swastika is banned.
