Al-Qaeda is poppin’ and lockin’ to the beats in the streets because of this. Allow me to honor the memory of this fallen kommando with this still picture of his poorly-rated and extremely shitty show:
I don’t know what happened there. Bad reception, ghost images or something. Or I was drinking too much. Anyway, this is how we will always remember you.

Skin’s not quite orange enough.

“poppin and lockin to the beats”
genius.
March 9, 2008 at 8:36 pm
Does that mean that Willy Geist has to finally clean the frat house?

It isn’t ghost images. I know exactly what is because…
I, too, am beside myself.

PMSNBC cancels the only show that has thought instead of canned-liberal-spam in a desperate attempt to remain unwatched. All their ratings are in the sewer or the toxic waste dump—befitting the quality of their unhinged moonbat spew.

Whenever I think of Tucker Carlson – and I try mightily not to – I think of the total pwnage he received at the hands of Jon Stewart. And I still don’t think it’s a coincidence that his last crappy show was cancelled a mere few weeks later.

I gotta check with my main man Hagee, but I’m pretty sure this event was foretold in Revelations. If so, this is EXCELLENT NEWS!! For RAPTURE!!!
March 9, 2008 at 10:19 pm
Interesting, maybe the networks have realized we are tired of the bile and vitriol served up by their pundits.
Hopefully the rest of the “News” network hate mongers will follow him to oblivion.

Isn’t Joe “Dead Female Intern In My Office” Scarborough on MSNBC?
Also, dave – that extra “P” is truly the mot juste. PMS – get it? It’s a girl network!!! So that means it suuuuuuucks! Brilliant stuff there.

“Goin’ out like suckers… mother-tuckers
Tell me I can’t tear it up
Go get some toilet paper ‘cuz your canceled talk show is butt.”
March 10, 2008 at 9:51 am
Well, Tucker can always console himself at having an eternal moment of fame on “Dancing with the ‘Tards”.
What? It wasn’t called that? So sorry, I guess that’s what you get when you tune in after the opening.
March 10, 2008 at 10:18 am
As much as you may wish the bow-tied wonder would quietly disappear, I’m sure that Wingnut Welfare will find him a job somewhere else very soon.
March 10, 2008 at 11:59 am
If I was Jon Stewart I’d hire a bodyguard – Tucker’s gonna go postal on his ass.
March 10, 2008 at 1:32 pm
Wow. I am going to really miss never watching that show.
March 10, 2008 at 1:59 pm
In Tucker’s defense, he’s the guy that introduced Rachel Maddow (AKA the only thing still justifying the existence of Air America) to a TV audience. He might not have realized he was punching above his weight class, but while he was inviting her on to mop the floor with him night after night, Keith Olbermann was still giving that slot to the Milbanks of the world.
So, yeah, total douche, but he left the media world a little richer than he found it, which is a pretty hefty legacy for a right-wing gasbag.

I don’t understand why all the comments I am reading about Tucker are so negative. I have followed his career for many years and find his approach to Journalism very refreshing. I vote to put Tucker back on Cable news in a new time slot. Shame on you MSNBC for cancelling such a wonderful program that only provides truthful and timely reporting! Come on bring Tucker back!!
March 14, 2008 at 4:04 pm
Maybe he will find his niche with the entertainment industry … as he did seen so taken with the lives of the stars.
Good FN riddance.

Anna na na, anna na na, hey hey hey, goodbye! Let Chris the fat ass be next, PLEASE! Then we can have 24/7 to catch a predator… lol, real news.
Frances, you must be a homoseggzual to think that way, be honest, you have a thing for men in Bow-Ties. Because I too have had to watch this idiot for YEARS and what I took away from the experience is Tucker Carlson is a guy who made his entire career by looking at the sensible way to think about a topic and doing the exact opposite. If there was a debate about the sky being blue, Tucker Carlson would definitely be arguing against it… That’s the long and short of Tucker Carlson. As a result, his viewers dwindlde because NOBODY agrees with him, just you Frances… let me ask, do you wear a helmet everywhere you go? Did you grow up near power lines? Ha
It’s sad that most likely Tucker will be filled with more political garbage. what, 20 soldiers have died this past week, but it got about 10 minutes of air time, but what Hillary’s 23rd in command said was top news.
Go to Hell MSNBC, we’ll all remember this.
*Changes Channel to CNN*

I agree with Frances. I have watched Tucker for several years, both on CNN and MSNBC. While I rarely agree with him, it was refreshing to see someone not spout the party line on every topic. It was even better to see someone who could actually be swayed by reasonable discourse.
March 15, 2008 at 11:08 am
I’m very sorry to see Tucker go. Morning Joe and Tucker were about the only shows worth watching on MSNBC. Reading the postings here and at Huffingtons’, I’m really amazed at the level of mean, vitriolic spewings that his shows cancellation has engendered. Just goes to show you what a bipolar creature the internet is….you can tell the world TMI on sites like My Space, right down to the most sordid detail. Or you can hide behind an anonymous web name and pump out as much hate and bile as you wish. It’s no wonder that there is so little civility left. The barbarians are truly at the gate.
April 24, 2008 at 11:44 pm
I can’t believe that everyone posting does not understand the true reasons he was axed. It couldn’t be the ratings…if that was the case MSNBC would be off the air. He just refused to squeeze out a big pile of the extreme left wing party line every night like other shows I will not mention (Sis Matthews NoBalls). Well it does kill two birds with one stone. They will not have opposing views to their sickening agenda and they can go ahead and turn it into the Obama network…all Obama, all day, every hour. I get sick of hearing them crucify Fox and then turn around and shill more than any other network for Obama.
May 23, 2008 at 2:22 pm
I have always enjoyed Tucker. Always. He is a good human being. Why so many mean spirited comments? What happened to being human?
July 31, 2008 at 4:04 pm
Did anyone here even watch the show? Because if you did you would realize that Tucker was fair, reasonable and treated his guests with the utmost respect. The reason he got cancelled was because he wasn’t being an over the top blow hard like O’Reilly or doing 20 minute rants on how Bush and his cronies essentially eat little children. It’s sad that our NEWS industry has become just as sensational as the magazines you see while waiting to pay for your groceries. Tucker engaged in civil, thoughtful discourse and wasn’t afraid to concede a point to one of his guests. And yes, Jon Stewart did kinda own him, but who cares. Tucker’s show was a place where you could see light hearted, rational debate amongst mature adults, something very rare in today’s climate of celebrity and outrageousness.
