I would like to second the wise remarks of Herr Dr Professor.

And if any of you are in Frankfurt/M, Germany on Saturday the 24th, why not come watch the 1. Bundesliga rugby final at SC 1880. It’s ’80 against hated rivals RG Heidelberg and there’s not a bad seat in the stadium (in large part because there are no seats in the stadium). The quality of play should be good, and will in any case not be worse than the performance in the recent 6 Nations tournament of countries in the British Isles that are not called “Wales”. Also, I understand that beer may be available; kickoff at 3.

Oh and what’s with the decade discrimination?

If events that happened more recently, (The pats beat the Carolina Panthers..barely) are more important then events that happened in the relatively more recent past, (The NFC Central clogs up the big dig with fecal matter) but not the events that happened somewhere in the middle, (Colts win SB, beat someone? on the way), then why the fuck do I have to keep celebrating these stupid holidays?

If only I could just celebrate last Tuesday but the giant dump that the Manning brothers took on Boston knocked out space time as we knew it.

No. The Patriots did something wrong and rightly, they were heavily fined. They are a .500 Super Bowl team and their choke in the last Super Bowl makes Scott Norwood look heroic.

Nobody gives a shit about regular season records, (even with NE’s payroll and fun interpretation of the rules everyone agreed to obey) or even going to four consecutive SBs, (even in a suck early 90s AFC, I know, I checked.)

Patriots suck my ass. Sniff the Bison.
