From now on, nobody who thinks it’s Sebelius gets to call him (or her) self against-the-grain. She’s been the prohibitive favorite among your non-idiot type of blogger for months now. There’s no down side, unless you’re crazy an idiot disingenuous the One True PUMA. Just you wait.
… hah! Fooled you!

Is there any backlash for picking a non-Hillary woman?
August 21, 2008 at 10:09 pm
No.
August 21, 2008 at 10:12 pm
Great. A black guy and a girl team up to fight crime and corruption in the Capital of the Free World. What’s her name again? I’m having serious trouble reading it on my lawn sigh and/or bumper sticker. Not the Rat Fucker’s pick.
If it is Sebilius, I’m doubling down on my months old wager that McCain wins.
August 21, 2008 at 10:16 pm
Oh, and if you need another reason to not like Biden (and if you really do, you’re a fucking idiot), here’s the href=”http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/22/opinion/22brooks.html?hp”>Elitist Fuckhead:

Obama’s going to win the popular vote and lose the electoral college. Right now we’re winning by a length of IA and NM. I doubt that’ll hold.
The veep is superfluous. Bad Veeps have been elected and “good” electoral veep’s have had no bearing. Ask Vice President Quayle and Jack Kemp.
BTW If we were running the same campaign Clinton ran against Dole, we’d be better off. Tie thirty years of Senate Bills around his neck and bang until soft(er).
Hugs and Kisses,

Bo-o-o-oring, panick-y. Obama’s got it in the bag. What do I care what assholes on the internet think?
August 21, 2008 at 11:02 pm
Fuck, look who’s asking now.

Dood, you’re being very un-Ratfucker here.

What is your electoral map analysis based on. Your feelings? Your gut? I’ll ask President Kerry about that.
The national pop vote looks good:
http://www.forecastingprinciples.com/PollyVote/
The electoral map is really, really bad for us.
In NV, CO, NM, IA, NH, VA,FL, OH,MN, NH, we are behind or tied. Now I agree if 90% of our voters turnout to their 70-80% turnout we’ll be cool. The problem is 17-30% of Clinton’s voters intend to vote for McCain or stay home. Maybe it’s a bluff. I think we’ll run up big wins in many of the states that Kerry won, but lose close races in the states that will determine the e-v. The RNC has as much money as Obama, they have historical trends, and fleeting demographic trends that favor the GOP. If we win just OH, we’re cool, along with what Kerry won. If we lose Ohio we need a combination of states that don’t look good for us. I don’t like it. I call it like I see it. I’ve seen this movie before, I’ve read the script.
August 21, 2008 at 11:34 pm
Check that, I like NM for us, but not NV and CO.
August 21, 2008 at 11:34 pm
Well, I’m going to go out on a limb here and endure you peoples’ sneering scorn, but the Republican Presidential candidate looks to be John McCain. You heard it here.
August 22, 2008 at 12:04 am
The GOP knows how to retard voting in the inner cities, and how to get a retard elected twice in a dismal climate. The number one priority of the GOP right now is suppress turnout and make sure the voting machines in Ohio don’t produce a paper trail. There are no issues. There is only fear and stereotype projection. A winning combo.

I’ve been amazed at the gushing media praise for Biden, Joe Biden the serious tough guy that Obama needs, the one with foreign policy chops, the experienced insider, widely acclaimed, popular, etc.
None have mentioned that it’s the same Joe Biden that set the media alight for a week with non-stop coverage of his “clean and articulate” comment.
But I’ll bet they recover their memories and have that gaffe standing by for another week of 24-hour coverage if Biden actually gets the big phone call.
…But anyway, it won’t be Sebelius. It’ll be Al Gore. Or Wes Clark.
August 22, 2008 at 12:31 am
If the voter thinks the candidate thinks he/she is “better” then them, it’s usually over. Obama needs to take it to the next level during the convention. The fans expect more from a star. A star has to keep out-doing themselves. The bar is set so high for Obama for the debates, McCain can’t lose. Hell, I saw Bush lose at least five debates, and the undecided voters liked him more for it.
This is a very sick, sick electorate who as a rule make bad choices based on their own ego problems.
August 22, 2008 at 1:10 am
We’ll know soon enough, and I am like totally sick of this topic, and to prove how totally sick of it I am, I am now going to write a completely tl;dr post expressing my completely crucial anectdote on the interwebs.
As I’m sure most of you know the GOS has been saying the only reason not to pick Seb is because of the potential for PUMA backlash. Meanwhile, it’s clear that she is amongst GOS’s favs (along with the brown guy).
Anyway, I thought it was ridiculous to suggest the Hillbots would reject a non-Hill female. I mean that has got to be better than some crusty white dude right? FWIW, I tested this hypothesis with my focus group of Hill supporters (code named M.O.M.) and was shocked! to discover that
shethey confirmed that this choice would be widely seen as outrageous and sexist??!?!BTW, I heard there might be a war somewhere and that people might be dying and stuff, but i thought that had happened sometime last Thursday.

well, there is the small problem of campaigning and a televised debate. Go find her response to the SOTU and give it a listen. Let me know what you think when you wake up.
She adds nothing in experience and nothing in foreign affairs and she wouldn’t even necessarily bring her state, which has a scant handful of electoral votes anyway.
She does have a vagina, though, so if they want to make essentially the same calculation that put Alan Keyes into the IL race, she’d be a terrific choice.
August 22, 2008 at 6:30 am
It won’t be Wesley Clark – Obama already denounced him for that remark he made about McCain’s history as a POW. If he turns around and declares him the running mate, the media will talk about nothing else until November.
I’d be very surprised if it were Biden – the media will just dredge up old stories about his plagiarism scandal from 20 years ago, needlessly reviving a plagiarism non-story from the Obama campaign a few months back.
And it ain’t gonna be Al Gore. Why would he want to be Vice-President for another eight years?

ALAN KEYES HAS A VAGINA!?!?!?!
August 22, 2008 at 8:20 am
Dude, where have you been?
August 22, 2008 at 8:26 am
Lookin’ for love in all the wrong places.
August 22, 2008 at 8:36 am
This should be the name of a blog. Or song. Or something
“ALAN KEYES HAS A VAGINA”
August 22, 2008 at 9:49 am
Isn’t her son some sort of pornographer or something?
August 22, 2008 at 10:40 am
Of course Keyes has a vagina. He keeps it in a jar next to his collection of zygotes.
August 22, 2008 at 11:15 am
Thanks to the google, I remember now that Seblius’s son created a board game called “Don’t Drop the Soap,” about life in prison. Granted this isn’t as bad as Geraldine “He’s Lucky He’s Black” Ferraro having a Mafioso husband, but still.
August 22, 2008 at 11:41 am
Screw you all! It’ll be Feinstein!
Damn it feels good to be a maverick….
August 22, 2008 at 12:04 pm
I’m rooting for either Kanau Kambon or Louis Farrakhan or Al Sharpton or some other Lion of the Left who speaks for all liberals.

Ward Churchill!

If O.J. Simpson converts to Islam and/or homosexuality, he’s a lock. Until then, I think Simon Adebisi from the HBO prison melodrama “Oz” has to be considered the front runner.
August 22, 2008 at 5:19 pm
My money’s on Alan Keyes. That would be way more bipartisan than McCain/Lieberman.
August 22, 2008 at 5:22 pm
Adebisi? The Haitian Decimation?
August 22, 2008 at 6:04 pm
Keyes hasn’t decapitated any white people. Plus, he has a vagina.
August 22, 2008 at 6:08 pm
A self-douching vagina.

From the extra-dimension portrayed in Steven King’s The Mist.
August 23, 2008 at 3:41 am
…Or it could be Joe Biden.
August 23, 2008 at 3:54 am
Sibelius? I certainly wouldn’t want to be up against him. He was a dirty fighter and a mean drunk. Just look at the dude. The reason why Sibelius stopped composing after the 7th Symphony was that he had started a second career as a professional wrestler. Not many people know that.
August 23, 2008 at 7:00 am
I gotta agree, Sibelius’ music and oratory are both potent soporifics.
Prince Rogers Nelson is the obvious choice.
Or is ‘Prince’ too elitist?
Howsoever, it totally steals the thunder from a McCain/Pawlenty ticket. “We got better Minnesotans than the other guys, too”.
