Helen Thomas would have at least been a respectable choice, though she is older than dirt.. And Gavin Newsom, though a slimy little tool, is intelligent and has charisma.

I’ve been trying to imagine who Obama could have picked that would have been similiarly ludicris to Adm. Palin. (barring Ludacris himself as simply, well… anyway) First I thought of Gavin Newsome.

But I think the better analogy is if Obama had chosen Helen Thomas to be his running mate. And who knows, maybe he should have. But frankly I’m glad he went with Joe Biden instead. My friends.
