My friends, expecting the media to live up to even some middling ethical standard is pointless. Don’t complain, fight back. It’s incumbent on everyone from Barack to the guy on the bar stool to swing big, hard and often. Fuck the issues, fuck decency, fuck the facts, fuck civility. That’s a loser’s sport.

Obama has plenty of good talking points. By coincidence, the several dozen all fall under the heading of Lies Told to You By My Opponents. But since he wants to be remembered as the civil candidate who lost to a war hero, we cannot reasonably expect Obama to bring any of these up for discussion.
