Why just the other day I got this response:

It is in no way clear what contribution this paper purports to present. It contains a jumble of unrelated pseudo scientific arguments. In fact, the simple 1D master equation is trivial, and the problem of diffusive 1D kinetics with a trap is analytically solvable. The is no new science in this manuscript and I regretfully cannot recommend it for publication.

Ummmm, I ststed right up front the new result is the dispersion of the mean first passage times; the ANSATZ for 1-D diffusion is known but it is not exactly analytically solvable for any but the simplest cases, e.g. try solving it for the quartic potential! Oh yes, and fuck yourself with that ‘pseudoscience’ talk, asshole, when I see a real refutation, only then I might consider you to be serious, till then you are just a joke.
