“Hitler’s Willing Executioners” was a deeply dishonest book. Gitta Sereny describes contacting Goldhagen, to query his source for a footnote. He more-or-less shrugged his shoulders and explained that he made it up to buttress an otherwise-unfounded claim he wanted to make.

He didn’t source his claims! says the doktor, in an unsourced claim.

guess someone was right about that ole “off-chance that some Obamunists have actually read Goldberg – or read anything for that matter.” look at us obamunists defying expectations right and (of course) left!

I thought the problem with us Obamunists is that we read books. Book larin’ and all. Above trusting the gut.

Must keep the slanders straight.

And yes, Goldhagen’s a little off the reservation, too. But not in a stupid and lazy doughpants way.
