The Obama campaign has decided to heave out three newspapers from its plane for the final days of its blitz across battleground states — and all three endorsed Sen. John McCain for president!
The NY POST, WASHINGTON POST and DALLAS MORNING NEWS have all been told to move out by Sunday to make room for network bigwigs — and possibly for the inclusion of reporters from two black magazines, ESSENCE and JET, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
Wingnuts are, of course, pantomime outraged at such behavior. But you can understand how Obama would be peeved. Consider the Washington Post’s endorsement of John McCain:
THE NOMINATING process this year produced two unusually talented and qualified presidential candidates. There are few public figures we have respected more over the years than Sen. John McCain. Yet it is without ambivalence that we endorse Sen. Barack Obama for president.
Still: ESSENCE and JET!!! You know what that means!
UPDATE: Drudge corrects – ’twas the Moonie Cult Newsletter, not the WaPo. An understandable oopsie-doodle. However, we can confirm that Obama is black, and all that entails. His middle name is Hussein, even. Via the invaluable American Truckers At War.

Lyrical update for the current political climate:
At least in the wingnut mind.

The Obama campaign has no right to decide who flies on campaign-funded flights on a campaign-funded plane because that’s an unconstitutional limit on the freedom of the press. The press has no right to ask Palin questions that she doesn’t want to answer because that’s an unconstitutional limit on her freedom of speech. Clearly, the press should all fly with Palin, but only ask Obama questions.

Now, one may say: “But doesn’t the odd behavior of the American conservative evangelical and their leadership and handlers turn off the remaining 99.6% of the world which is not American conservative evangelical, thereby aiding in damning them to damnation?
Well, this one does not! I say Palin should join in on the Al Frankin lawsuit before suing the rest of the damned world which has followed his damned demonic example.

It’s one law for the weak and another for the powerful. If I did that, I’d be charged with littering.

All these years and I still haven’t heard George Clinton sing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’. Maybe he didn’t feel he could equal John Denver’s ethnic realism singing “…mountain mama…”.
In fact (correct me if I’m wrong) not once did the P-Funk ensemble appear on The Muppet Show which, after all, was the most natural setting possible for their high theater performances.
I remember when a token ‘black dude’ with a flying saucer Afro and a buncha Earth, Wind, & Fire records meant something at a frat party, by cracky!

Barack has been a pillar of confidence, cool, and level headedness this entire campaign. McCain represents desperation, low road politics and putting self and your own personal aspirations far in front of country. There is no limit to the depths John McCain won’t sink to in an effort to win this election. He gave up country first a long time ago. Schwarzenegger, an alleged racist, who’s been critical of Sarah Palin and John McCain, now is being utilized as McCain’s saving grace. Politics are such a joke.

Dear The Editors,
I am connecting the dots, and snorting what I find… I still have trouble understanding whether or not you are a robot… I have discovered that the correct answer to “Would you like a toot?” is “Yes,” but frankly the sort of folks who ask that question are questionable to say the least. Perhaps, I misunderstood your instructions… Eliza isn’t much help with this. Should I go back to Purble Drank?
