Even if I try to imagine a set of songs written up by a committee of pasty old comboverheads in the basement of The Heritage Foundation, I don’t see how they could have come up with worse. Painful.

The Editors will be pleased to note that this post sent me to youtube to find the artists name (guess I could have read the title), and that a simple result from the first page of a ~~Ask Jeeves~~ Google search brought me back here. A diabolical feedback loop if ever there was one… well played.

I still think L-Dog should use a bit more MIDI piano in his jams, but what do I know, I don’t even work at the Heritage foundation.

Oh, when you said "the inevitable war porn tribute to 9/11", I skipped over the war part. (It was a mistake, I swear! I won't do it again! I'm still trying to get the images of The Kerik banging his girlfriend in the firefighters apartment, Bush yelling through his megaphone, "I'm coming for you, Saddam!", etc., etc., etc. If only there were some way to get rid of this disturbing imagery....)

Ooh. Dick Durata is a prancing hippo, at least on the avatar plane. It fits the music and the lyrics. Says Prancing Hippo:
