This is a strange polling point,

“More Americans describe themselves as “pro-life” on abortion (51%) than “pro-choice” (42%) for the first time since the Gallup Poll began asking the question in 1995.

These results were confirmed in two other recent Gallup surveys and a recent national poll by Pew Research recorded an eight point decline since last August in those saying abortion should be legal in all or most cases, from 54% to 46%.”

I don't mean to derail, but I'd like to point out that everyone's favorite reformed conservatives are equivocating on torture. Namely, on Obama's recent reversal in regards to the torture photos scheduled release. Andrew Sullivan goes hardcore. Not only is he first out the gate with "think of the troops!" but he also manages to squeeze in some boot licking too! Obama's playing chess whilst we're all asking to get kinged! Just trust the president guys, c'mon, when has that ever failed us! John Cole of "I'm-a-liberal-now-that-conservatives-won't-pay-me-to-blog" fame can't even bring himself to post about the issue, deciding to instead to make roundabout suggestions that it's still a few bad apples. Really? These photos show the same people that we've already seen torturing the same people we already knew were tortured? Balloon Juice's other contributors faithfully toe John's line. The top post as I write this? "Dude, this coffee is really good!" And we're supposed to be the out of touch limousine liberals.
