Since the moran-America is gonna bitch endlessly about fictitious death panels, we might as well give them real death panels. I say take a poll:

We has Death Panels?

Since the “Death Tax” only affects really rich people, couldn’t those people afford private care?

If the government wasn’t already supplying those people with health care, how would it save he gov’t any money for them to die? If you’re too poor to take anything other than government medical assistance even on death’s door, aren’t you too poor for taxing your “estate” to bring in any money?

In fact, wouldn’t the “death tax” be an incentive for rich old people to spend their money on expensive treatments trying to keep themselves alive rather than let the government take it? Better your private non-Obamacare doctor get the money than the government. That would be a free-market way to drive more money into medical innovation (read: keeping rich old people alive and tumescent).

I’m sorry, I get that Obama is Hitler and all that jazz, but they lost me on the death tax thing.

Here’s where I’m confused. Don’t conservatives complain all the time about us lazy entitlement whores who don’t represent any productive value to America? Aren’t they the ones constantly frothing about “pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps” and “personal responsibility” and all that? You’d think they’d be 1,000 percent on board with getting rid of anyone whose “level of productivity in society” doesn’t meet their standards. Whatever the hell those standards are, anyway.
