And if the Senate Republicans have their way, it will remain empty for the rest of Obama’s term. (If it requires Senate confirmation, anyway.) That’s what’s so maddening about the puke finger-pointing on this – they’ve done their damndest to make sure that NO government agency can function by refusing to confirm appointees. And then screech about how the gubmint can’t do anything right. Well, duh. Jobs don’t get done when there’s no one to do them, and they’ve remained hard at work to make sure that there’s no one to do them.
